New Release – 04th September 2021

FEATURES: Review Amazon Settlements data in DEAR, consolidate sales by Amazon settlement for export to Xero, native integrations with Faire and Authorize.net, and more!

Feature 1: Review Amazon Settlements file in DEAR

Impact area:

Amazon Integration

Introduction:

Amazon generates Settlement Reports for its sellers, providing breakdowns of Item Price, Amazon commission fees, shipping fees, and total amount earned by the seller – detailed information of a seller’s account activity for the settlement period. Approximately every two weeks, Amazon will deposit the sales money, minus charges for Amazon fees, in the seller’s Amazon account directly into the seller’s bank account.

Amazon generates a report (Amazon Settlements Report) detailing these fees at approximately two-week intervals. The fees can then be processed manually by the user or automatically by DEAR. Previously, DEAR did not have the capability to view the transactions listed in the Amazon settlement file via DEAR. With this release, merchants will be able to review details of sales and fee transactions in Amazon settlement files via DEAR.

Feature 2: Consolidate exports to Xero by Amazon Settlement

Impact area:

Xero Integration, Amazon integration

Introduction:

Previously to this release, DEAR would download and process each Amazon transaction to DEAR as an individual transaction. This leads to additional overhead work for accountants to reconcile Amazon transactions when they are synced with Xero and DEAR. While it is possible to consolidate sales exports to Xero, the options available did not match up with the Amazon settlement period. With this release, DEAR has introduced a new consolidation option for Amazon transactions exporting to Xero based on the settlement period and settlement report.

By today FAIRE has added more than 400 international artisans and vendors from 39 countries to its wholesale offerings.
